More Platonic Figures

Alright, so it has been a little while since I have posted...been having more regular work again, so I am a little unbalanced when it comes to posts. Anyway...here are more of my favorite types of studies. I just watched a bunch of concept artists drawing tutorials, so I am really inspired to draw...but I am also really inspired to watch more concept artists. I hope to do some in-depth designs that are not as characteristic of my work, as well as vehicle and environment to practice and learn more about perspective.

Enjoy!

Chop Chop Holy Ass

Alright, so this one got a little carried away with the details, but I feel it was essential to at least indicate some of the intricacies. I am pretty happy with the piece, accept for the guy on the end (right side)...his face is a bit off in the likeness, but the expression is there and I know what would need to be changed, so I am at peace with it.

I kind of want to switch to a more traditional approach for the next couple pieces. I want to do about 2-3 more pieces before I take a break from this movie and move on to the next.

Anyway...enjoy!

Core Shadow Mapping

Here are some core shadow mapping exercise doodles. These studies are from photos, imagination, life, and various artists such as Vallejo and Vanderpoel. I ended up losing some of the halftones in the photoshop clean up, but you get the just of it.

Enjoy!
