More Sketchbook Stuff

More drawings...the top is mostly copies/studies of Ron Lemen from his Imagine FX Magazine featured issues, entitled, "How to Draw and Paint: Anatomy (Vol. 1 and 2).  I think these may still be available to back order, but I just heard that he is putting out a book (or series of books) on the very subject, so that should be pretty damn awesome.  I think I am going to put out a Christmas whish list post that has to do with all the awesome art books, videos, and various products there are out there, so stay tuned for that!

Lastly, I did  a drawing of my good friend, Andrea.  If you know me, or have viewed this blog, then you know I have done many illustrations of her before.  Anyway, I thought I would do this for her birthday, because she is expecting a baby boy!

Massive, Massive Sketch Dump

It's been a while since I have posted more of my sketches...just been to busy sketching.  These are more on the rough side for most of the drawings.  Some are old, most are new, some are from life (figure drawing sessions), some are from photos, some are studies of other artists, some are commissioned, most are imagined.  The colored sketches are just some doodles with Tombow brush pens, ink, colored pencil, and acrylic paint.  The last three are gift caricatures.
